Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and model mechanical parts and systems according to specifications
• Use CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo) for prototyping and simulation
• Perform mechanical calculations (RDM), dynamics, and thermal studies
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure design feasibility
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes (machining, welding, etc.)
• Research new solutions for system performance optimization
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (railway, energy, environmental)
• Validate designs through mechanical testing and trials

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience, ideally in Energy or Railway sectors
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD)
• Expertise in 3D modeling and GD&T
• Knowledge of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
• Mastery of product development methodologies (APQP, AMDEC, Six Sigma)
• Professional proficiency in English
