Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and dimension mechanical parts and sub-assemblies considering thermal, vibratory, and environmental constraints
• Perform 3D modeling and associated 2D drawings
• Participate in feasibility studies, technical reviews, and solution selection
• Contribute to mechanical strength studies (static, dynamic, tolerance calculations, dimension chains)
• Collaborate with electronic, industrialization, and quality teams to ensure product consistency
• Write technical documentation including specifications and definition files
• Monitor prototypes, testing, and production implementation
• Propose design improvements to optimize performance, reliability, or costs

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanics, mechatronics, or industrial product design
• 1 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in demanding sectors like aerospace, defense, or energy
• Proficiency in CATIA V5
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Autonomy, rigor, and strong analytical skills
