Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and model mechanical parts and systems according to specifications
• Use CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo) for prototyping and simulation
• Perform mechanical calculations including strength of materials (RDM), dynamics, and thermal analysis
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure design feasibility and select appropriate manufacturing processes
• Research new solutions to optimize system performance, such as weight reduction and energy optimization
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (railway, energy, environmental) and validate designs through testing

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience, ideally in Energy or Railway sectors
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD)
• Expertise in 3D modeling and technical drawing with GD&T
• Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Mastery of product development methodologies (APQP, AMDEC, Six Sigma)
• Professional proficiency in English
