Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical feasibility studies
• Design mechanical sub-assemblies and systems for special machines
• Conduct mechanical sizing and strength of materials calculations using analytical approaches
• Design and implement motors and kinematics for telemanipulation systems
• Participate in defining mechanical architectures and technical choices
• Perform 3D modeling and drafting of mechanical solutions
• Provide technical project follow-up in coordination with project and production teams

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical engineering
• 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in special machines
• Strong skills in strength of materials and analytical mechanical calculations
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent)
• Experience in designing motorized systems and complex kinematics
• Understanding of telemanipulation systems or specific mechanical equipment
• Fluency in English (written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the nuclear sector
