About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide design leadership for new and existing construction builds with a focus on data center development
- Manage, coordinate, and administer projects through all phases of design and construction
- Provide technical guidance on electrical power and mechanical systems
- Prepare project documentation including reports, schedules, RFIs, and submittals
- Manage external design consultants to ensure contract documents are completed on schedule and within budget
- Maintain Basis of Design, prototype designs, and template specifications
- Support procurement through vendor submittal reviews and factory witness testing
- Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance energy efficiency and system resilience
Requirements
- College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture, or Construction Management
- Experience in Project Management for large-scale construction programs, specifically data centers or mission-critical facilities
- Deep expertise in MEP design and engineering leadership
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
- Experience overseeing third-party design consultants
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems and mechanical cooling systems
- Excellent client-facing presentation skills
