About the role
Responsibilities
- Design new and complex mechanical assemblies including pressure-rated enclosures, motors, and vehicle frames
- Evaluate system failure modes and create validation plans
- Perform component and vehicle-level testing for performance and reliability
- Design and utilize new lab testing equipment
- Communicate and build relationships with new suppliers
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Eng Phys, Mechatronics, etc.)
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting using CAD software (Solidworks, NX, Fusion, etc.)
- Strong foundation in statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and engineering materials
- Proven experience designing, building, and testing projects
Benefits
- Pay: $62,400 CAD/year (prorated)
- Paid holidays plus 6 PTO days
- Educational reimbursement up to $500.00
- Relocation reimbursement up to $1,500.00
