Mechanical Design Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Learn mechanical design for plastic parts and mechatronics using Catia V5 to support various projects.
• Gradually take on more autonomy to handle complex subjects, such as plastic part design and mechanical sizing through calculation.
• Work on specific projects related to headlight or rear light systems.
• Coordinate with designers in India and China and collaborate with other R&D departments including simulation, optics, electronics, and plastics engineering.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering school (Bac +2/3 level).
• Strong interest in mechanical design and the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in English, as the environment is highly international.
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and excellent written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous knowledge or experience with CATIA V5 CAD software.
• Prior internship experience or knowledge regarding the design constraints of injection-molded plastic parts.
