Mechanical Calculation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform finite element modeling to evaluate the mechanical strength of structures and guide design choices
• Analyze simulation results, identify critical areas, and propose optimizations
• Contribute to the definition of calculation hypotheses, material laws, and boundary conditions
• Write calculation notes and supporting documents, and present conclusions to project teams
• Collaborate with design and testing teams to correlate models and improve prediction reliability

Requirements

• Master's degree (Engineering school or equivalent) specializing in mechanics, materials, or mechanical engineering
• Approximately 3 years of successful experience in mechanical calculation or numerical simulation
• Proficiency in finite element modeling (FEM)
• Knowledge of metallic materials and their behaviors
• Mastery of FEA tools and pre/post-processing software
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace, Space, or Defense sectors
