Mechanical Building Works Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Participate in the supervision of works in the plant for the replacement of ball valves and piping
• Supervise electrical, mechanical, and turbine-generator group works
• Develop supervision programs based on technical, environmental, quality, and safety requirements
• Review contractor quality plans and perform subsequent quality controls
• Manage quality and environmental documentation and ensure health and safety compliance
• Draft and follow up on Non-Conformance (NC) reports
• Prepare progress reports including photos, supply tracking, labor, and technical defects
• Monitor contractor schedules and work methods
• Represent Hydro-Québec during site visits and meetings
• Maintain a minimum field presence of 70%

Requirements

• DEC in building mechanics or equivalent experience/training
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience
• Experience in construction supervision and health and safety knowledge
• Valid driver's license (Class 5) and access to a vehicle
• Valid ASP construction card
• Training in working at heights, confined spaces, and fit testing
• Proficiency in computer tools and French language (spoken and written)
• Autonomous and proactive mindset
