Mechanical BMG Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise the execution of the Preventive Maintenance plan to optimize equipment reliability.
• Perform systematic failure, problem, and performance analysis on equipment to define corrective actions.
• Ensure strict application of health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards and procedures.
• Manage performance for direct reports, including conducting annual performance reviews.
• Maintain a visible presence in the mill to provide hands-on technical support and foster employee engagement.
• Manage the maintenance cost budget and ensure technical resource availability and minimum stock levels.
• Support the Engineering area with the research, assessment, and startup of new equipment.
• Manage and update the maintenance information system and all relevant technical documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, trades work, or as a hands-on engineering technician.
• 5+ years of experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Post-secondary education in a Mechanical Trade (433a), Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong familiarity with manufacturing environment safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with SAP.
