About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete the assembly and testing of components received from the supply chain
- Work hands-on with tools, equipment, and facilities to build, launch, or test launch vehicles
- Contribute to the overall production and launch schedule
- Collaborate with test and design engineers to maintain high quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Trade qualification in a relevant industry or 4+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in precision mechanical assembly
- Ability to operate mechanical, electrical, and automated test equipment
- Ability to work to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service
- Working understanding of standard industry ESD
- High level of eyesight for inspecting assemblies to workmanship standards
- Ability to manufacture components via riveting and precision assembly
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings
- High work ethic and initiative
- Computer literacy, including comfort with smartphones and tablets
