Mechanical Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete the assembly and testing of components received from the supply chain
• Work hands-on with tools, equipment, and facilities to build, launch, or test launch vehicles
• Contribute to the overall production and launch schedule
• Collaborate with test and design engineers to maintain high quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Trade qualification in a relevant industry or 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in precision mechanical assembly
• Ability to operate mechanical, electrical, and automated test equipment
• Ability to work to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service
• Working understanding of standard industry ESD
• High level of eyesight for inspecting assemblies to workmanship standards
• Ability to manufacture components via riveting and precision assembly

• Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings

• Computer literacy, including comfort with smartphones and tablets
