Mechanical Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble products in various stations and processes
• Learn and utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to improve production areas
• Assist along the entire assembly line to achieve production needs
• Input information via ERP system as required
• Operate sensitive equipment including drills, hoists, and air tools

Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift 50lbs throughout the day
• Ability to read and understand assembly diagrams, detailed instructions, and process flowcharts
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills in a team setting
• Hands-on experience with power tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical builds such as automotive work, computer assembly, or home remodeling
• Metal working experience
