Mechanical Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical assemblies accurately, safely, and efficiently according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and assembly drawings
• Modify mechanical assemblies using proper hand and power tools in the correct sequence
• Utilize 3D models and blueprints to guide assembly processes
• Interact and provide feedback to other departments, including Fabrication and Engineering
• Support a continuous improvement environment within the manufacturing facility

Requirements

• Technical degree or a minimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly experience in a production environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions for extended periods
• Ability to work safely around moving parts and mechanical hazards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PC software
• Knowledge of SolidWorks
• Experience using SAP
