Mechanical Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assemble dryer rotors, housings, and piping assemblies using hand and power tools based on 2D drawings
• Balance rotors using overhead cranes and specialized balancing equipment
• Build and mount component parts such as agglomerate catchers and pellet diverter valves
• Perform leak tests on dryer and tank housings using air and soap water
• Engrave equipment nameplates using laser, dot peen, or other marking tools
• Complete quality check sheets to ensure all products meet company expectations
• Maintain a safe work environment by following accident prevention and occupational safety protocols

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Mechanical background with a general understanding of tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and climbing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in a factory environment and work overtime or weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in assembly shops or manufacturing locations
• Experience in automotive repair or maintenance
