Mechanical Assembler I

Responsibilities

• Repair and assemble parts to meet design specifications and quality standards
• Test and calibrate parts, including soldering and/or brazing
• Use hand tools, machine tools, and electrical/mechanical measuring devices
• Read and follow repair documentation, procedures, and work instructions
• Plan and prioritize work to meet production schedules
• Comply with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs
• Participate in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• Vocational or technical education in a related discipline
• Ability to follow and interpret complex repair documentation
• Proficiency in using various hand and machine tools
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by regulatory requirements)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with soldering and/or brazing
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
