Responsibilities

• Define the mechanical architecture of equipment or subsystems (structures, chassis, housings, antenna or electronics supports).
• Design or supervise 3D CATIA modeling and mechanical assemblies.
• Perform mechanical analyses: static, modal, vibration, shock, and thermo-structural.
• Define and validate materials, processes, and treatments compatible with space constraints.
• Write justification files (FEM models, correlations, mass budgets, tolerances).
• Participate in or lead design reviews (DRR, PDR, CDR, QR).
• Define mechanical tests (vibrations, shocks, thermo-vac) and analyze results.
• Follow AIT integration in cleanrooms and handle non-conformities.
• Interface with system, thermal, industrial teams, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in mechanics, materials, or aeronautics (Master's level).
• 3 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design or architecture in high-constraint sectors (space, aero, defense).
• Proficiency in CAD and FEM calculation software.
• Knowledge of space mechanical and thermal environments is a plus.
• Ability to manage complex technical subjects and multi-disciplinary interfaces.
• Rigor, autonomy, and teamwork skills.
