About the role
Responsibilities
- Guarantee electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of avionics systems through simulations and testing
- Propose technical solutions like filtering and shielding to ensure compliance with aeronautical standards
- Validate mechanical resistance via stress analysis (vibrations, shocks, fatigue)
- Simulate mechanical behaviors using ANSYS or Nastran to optimize designs
- Design structures and housings for avionics equipment using CATIA or SolidWorks
- Analyze thermal performance and simulate heat transfers using Flotherm or ANSYS Thermal
- Collaborate with electronic design teams to integrate components into mechanical envelopes
Requirements
- Engineering degree in mechanics, electronics, thermal, or equivalent (Bac+5)
- 3 to 10 years of experience in EMC, mechanical analysis, mechanical design, or thermal analysis
- Experience in the aeronautical sector is preferred
- Proficiency with tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Nastran, CST, HFSS, or Flotherm
- Knowledge of aeronautical standards (DO-160, MIL-STD, RTCA)
- Technical English proficiency
