Mechanical and Boilermaking Structure Designer

Responsibilities

• Model in CAD and design hull and structure assemblies for submarines and surface vessels
• Follow calculation prescriptions and perform design loops (reinforcements, etc.) in consultation with engineers
• Adhere to current standards, manufacturer prescriptions, and client standards
• Establish industrialization documents including assembly plans, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and parts lists
• Draft technical documentation such as specifications, assembly instructions, and test programs

Requirements

• Bac+2 degree in Boilermaking Design, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial engineering studies or project management
• Proficiency in Catia V5, V6, or 3DEXPERIENCE
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack
• Rigorous, methodical, and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Nuclear sector
• Knowledge of naval defense domains: Hull & structure, piping, specific equipment, or outfitting
