Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and service on construction machinery and associated equipment
• Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs involving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Follow up on daily workshop operations and document completed work in company systems
• Plan and coordinate activities in collaboration with the service manager
• Maintain active HSE (HMS) standards, including risk assessments and following Safe Job Analysis (SJA)
• Perform occasional field service work at customer locations

Requirements

• Trade certificate as a construction, agricultural, or heavy vehicle mechanic (or equivalent relevant background)
• Proven experience working with construction machinery (e.g., diesel/electric excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers)
• Proficiency in using a PC as a work tool
• Valid driver's license (Class BE, C1, C1E, or C)
• Fluent Norwegian skills, both oral and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Volvo or Sennebogen machinery
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
