Mechanic (Tracked Vehicle)

Responsibilities

• Perform FMC and safety verifications on combat and tactical tracked vehicles and their sub-systems
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic tests
• Identify failures in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems using specialized tools and instruments
• Remove, repair, and replace engine, drive train, and body components
• Maintain accurate physical and electronic logbooks and maintenance records
• Ensure work areas meet strict housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards
• Mentor and provide on-the-job training to co-workers and other personnel
• Comply with all company policies, safety protocols, and quality assurance programs

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2.5 years of verifiable experience in military combat/tactical vehicle maintenance or heavy-duty civilian equipment (semi-trucks, trailers, or construction equipment)
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and schematic diagrams
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages
