About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance following published work instructions and approved technical data
- Utilize common hand tools, specialized tooling, and fixtures to assemble, disassemble, and test jet engines
- Conduct self-inspections or peer inspections of critical processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Monitor and ensure all processes meet Safety, Quality, and Delivery objectives
- Work a 2nd shift schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate
- Hands-on experience in disassembly, inspection, assembly, or turbine engine test operations
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and SAP
