Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Support production by collaborating on preventive and corrective maintenance for paper machines and pulp mills
• Perform mechanical tasks such as replacing gearboxes, pumps, fans, and valves
• Learn specific work tasks and routines alongside experienced colleagues during the initial employment period
• Participate in on-call availability as required

Requirements

• High school education with a relevant technical focus
• Proven experience in mechanical work
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative
• High level of safety consciousness and commitment to the safety of others
• Service-oriented mindset and openness to learning new tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with bearing changes and laser alignment
• Valid permits for forklift, overhead crane, and hot work
