Mechanic I

Responsibilities

• Coordinate suspension programs, including Liquid Spring and Monroe Suspension programs
• Manage chassis modification duties in close collaboration with the Mounting Supervisor
• Receive and inspect dealer-supplied chassis
• Handle key and vehicle assignment duties and coordinate chassis control functions
• Assist with the company welding certification program and conduct tests as requested
• Maintain cooperative working relationships across various functional areas

Requirements

• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Valid Ohio driver's license
• Proficiency with pneumatic and power tools (e.g., drill, screw gun, sander, jig saw)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and squat for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to perform critical analysis and evaluate complex situations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
