Mechanic Fleet

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical problems and perform mechanical repairs on ready-mix concrete trucks and heavy construction equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance including lubrication, oil changes, and failure analysis
• Conduct brake inspections and adjustments on commercial vehicles following Federal DOT requirements
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electronics, and other components
• Create accurate work orders and input daily repair reports into tracking software
• Coordinate with location supervisors to prioritize work based on vehicle inspections
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment
• Adhere to all CEMEX and OSHA safety rules and regulations at all times

Requirements

• Proven mechanical experience
• Must possess own tools up to 1 ¼ inch
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• High school diploma preferred
