Mechanic Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical and electronic systems, including conduit installation, wiring, splicing, and terminations based on blueprints.
• Diagnose faults in electrical/electronic equipment and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
• Conduct testing and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and electrical components.
• Operate low- and medium-voltage equipment and perform basic programming of PLC and Foxboro systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, including LOTO, Arc Flash, and high voltage protocols.
• Document all work activities in SAP and maintain 5S standards.

Requirements

• Licensed Electrician with a Certificate of Qualification in good standing.
• Proven experience in industrial environments maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in PLC programming; experience with Foxboro systems is considered an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and data.
• Physical capability to work in varying conditions, including extreme postures, temperatures, and heights.
• Availability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including overtime and on-call duties.
