About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and planned maintenance on production and support equipment
- Operate, adjust, and repair machinery to ensure high-quality production volumes
- Assist with mechanical breakdowns and production line conversions
- Monitor ink levels and ensure efficient, accurate design changes
- Complete machine cleaning and quality checks accurately and on time
- Comply with all job safety practices, food safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Apprenticeship in a Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering discipline (time-served engineer)
- Proven experience with preventative and planned maintenance
- Ability to assist with equipment breakdowns and line conversions
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in printing processes
