Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and planned maintenance on production and support equipment
• Operate, adjust, and repair machinery to ensure high-quality production volumes
• Assist with mechanical breakdowns and production line conversions
• Monitor ink levels and ensure efficient, accurate design changes
• Complete machine cleaning and quality checks accurately and on time
• Comply with all job safety practices, food safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Apprenticeship in a Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering discipline (time-served engineer)
• Proven experience with preventative and planned maintenance
• Ability to assist with equipment breakdowns and line conversions
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in printing processes
