Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment on customer rolls
• Read and interpret process sheets and paperwork to ensure correct specifications
• Use appropriate tools for drilling, tapping, torch work, and cleaning parts
• Reassemble equipment according to strict customer specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety and inspection requirements
• Complete all required daily paperwork

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with powered hand tools
• Ability to read and use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers (including metric)
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs and work up to 12-hour shifts on a concrete floor
• Ability to undergo training for machine operation

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant mechanical experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Experience operating lift trucks and overhead cranes
