About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechatronic equipment and systems using structured fault diagnosis.
- Execute installations, configurations, and commissioning of machines and automated devices following technical specifications and safety standards.
- Program, parameterize, and adjust automation devices including PLCs, inverters, supervisory systems, sensors, and actuators.
- Analyze technical processes to propose continuous improvements, cost reductions, and performance optimizations.
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure synergistic industrial equipment operation.
- Support interventions in robotic systems and automated cells, including basic adjustments and calibrations.
- Prepare technical reports, service orders, and failure analyses for engineering and leadership teams.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Industrial, or Industrial Automation.
- Full availability to work different shifts as required.
- Ability to work 100% onsite at the GM plant in São Caetano do Sul.
- Active CNH B driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical diagram reading and interpretation.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with Fanuc robots.
- Experience with Rockwell PLC, Siemens PLC, and Allen-Bradley.
- Experience with Profinet, Ethernet, and Profibus network systems.
- Experience with vision systems and inverters.
