Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Collaborate with team members to complete complex repair tasks efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Respond to emergency repair calls as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in automotive or industrial mechanics
• Proficiency in mechanical repair and maintenance techniques
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and interpreting results
• Skill in using hand and power tools
• Basic computer knowledge for record keeping and documentation
• Knowledge of various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, and hydraulics
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a mechanical work environment
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessary
• Physical capacity to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions
• Effective communication skills in Portuguese and basic knowledge of English
