Mecânico I

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical adjustments and dimensional tolerance checks on mechanical parts
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports
• Support cutting activities using oxy-fuel sets, grinders, and electrode welding
• Execute assembly and disassembly of rotating and reciprocating equipment according to maintenance schedules
• Replace gaskets and assist in the installation of mechanical seals and seals
• Perform bearing assembly and adjustments
• Conduct conventional and laser shaft alignment
• Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance activities

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Completed Mechanics course
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of metrology and measurement tools
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in continuous process industries, preferably in Pulp & Paper
• Knowledge of boilermaking and welding
• Experience using SAP
