About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of mining equipment including pumps, cyclones, and valves.
- Execute daily tasks such as cleaning, component alignment, and verifying correct equipment functionality to ensure high operational reliability.
- Manage inventory levels for components and inspect tools and equipment to ensure optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with team leaders to maintain order and cleanliness in operations and prepare accurate technical progress reports.
- Maintain a 100% commitment to zero-harm safety behaviors and world-class safety culture.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Mechanical Maintenance, Production Mechanics, Industrial Electricity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of concentrator plant equipment.
- Proven experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, valves, piping, and mechanical component assembly (shafts, couplings, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience in welding processes for concentrator plant equipment (minimum 3G certification).
- 3+ years of experience operating overhead cranes (15TN+ certified).
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment alignment, bearings, and vibration analysis.
- Availability to work a 14x7 schedule in La Oroya.
