Mécanicien PL (Alternance BAC PRO) - Centre d'essais

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance and routine servicing (checks, replacements, adjustments) on heavy goods vehicles
• Execute supervised corrective maintenance, including component repair and simple settings/parameterization
• Assist in diagnosing malfunctions by following intervention protocols, including measurements and tests
• Configure vehicles for testing purposes according to specific instructions and perform first-level self-checks
• Document all interventions and findings, including activity tracking and incident reporting
• Adhere strictly to Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards

Requirements

• Currently preparing a Bac Pro Maintenance des Véhicules (option VTR) via an apprenticeship (alternance)
• Strong motivation for heavy goods vehicle mechanics and working in a workshop environment
• Punctual, serious, and eager to learn
• Rigorous approach with a high level of safety awareness
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate progress or difficulties clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous workshop experience (internships or school projects) with light or heavy vehicles
• Basic knowledge of electricity or diagnostic procedures
• Valid Driver's License (Permis B)
• Interest in traceability, reporting, and continuous improvement processes
