About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filtration, and wear part replacements (250h, 500h, and 1000h intervals).
- Conduct diagnostic work to identify and repair mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, air, and electrical failures.
- Monitor and control equipment safety components such as brakes, steering, suspension, and warning devices.
- Execute small mechanical repairs on components like starters, water pumps, and turbos.
- Maintain accurate intervention reports and update machine maintenance logs daily.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including energy accumulator risks and waste sorting (oils, degreasers).
- Manage tool and workshop cleanliness and monitor spare parts stock levels.
Requirements
- Professional qualification such as CAP, Bac Pro, or BTS in a relevant mechanical field.
- Proven ability to diagnose mechanical failures and repair complex circuits.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to make quick decisions and analyze measurement results in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability to new technologies and evolving heavy machinery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in quarries or the construction materials industry.
