Measurement Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and 3D scanners
• Use CAD models as reference data for measurements
• Program CMM equipment for various measurement tasks
• Perform measurements and quality controls on parts according to drawings and specifications
• Conduct first-article inspections, sampling, and final inspections
• Generate and document detailed measurement reports
• Maintain, calibrate, and oversee measurement equipment and lab organization

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in reading technical drawings
• Ability to interpret GD&T (form and position dimensioning)
• Deep understanding of tolerances and technical specifications
• Hands-on experience with CMM measurement and PC-DMIS programming
• Strong computer literacy
• Fluency in both Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D scanning and analysis
• Experience working with Hexagon coordinate measuring machines
• Six Sigma certification or experience
