M&E Planning Trainee

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and contracts for social events based on client wishes
• Coordinate site inspections for potential clients
• Support the Sales Team in converting inquiries into bookings
• Act as the main point of contact for clients during event organization
• Distribute necessary information to all hotel departments to ensure smooth banquet functions
• Identify upselling opportunities to enhance client experiences
• Handle potential complaints regarding meetings or events
• Manage administrative tasks including invoicing and post-event follow-ups

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a hotel/hospitality management program or related HBO-level course
• Available for a minimum 10-month internship
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Passion for event planning and working with people
• Positive, energetic attitude and willingness to learn
• Authorized to work in the Netherlands and residing in Amsterdam
