About the role
Responsibilities
- Configure and enhance SAP MDG data models including Business Partner, Material, Finance, and Asset/EAM objects
- Implement MDG Central Governance processes, including Change Request (CR) types, workflow design, and business rules
- Configure Fiori and UI components to support MDG processes
- Manage and support MDG replication using the Data Replication Framework (DRF) to SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems
- Support initial data loads and ongoing data migration into MDG and S/4HANA
- Collaborate with Data Services and ETL teams to ensure alignment between MDG staging and target systems
- Implement and enforce data quality rules, validations, and mandatory field logic
- Troubleshoot and resolve MDG data quality, workflow, and replication issues across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments
Requirements
- 4-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
- Solid understanding of MDG data models and the Change Request framework
- Proficiency in workflow configuration, business rules, and validations
- Experience with DRF replication and MDG integration patterns
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA master data objects (BP, Material, Finance, EAM)
- Experience supporting data conversion or migration initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP Data Services (BODS) or similar ETL tools
- Experience in multi-instance S/4HANA landscapes
- Exposure to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) MDG extensions
- Prior experience in large SAP transformation or Digital Core programs
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and operating models
