MCE Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy rigging operations for the replacement of wind turbine components
• Mobilize Liftra equipment as required for project tasks
• Comply with all company and government safety regulations and guidelines
• Report directly to the Large Corrective Supervisor or Lead
• Complete all company-required training within designated timeframes
• Travel extensively for project assignments, typically 4-6 weeks at a time

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Technical school preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work at heights of 300+ feet
• Willingness to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and meet OSHA weight limits
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 90% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in major component exchange
• Familiarity with heavy rigging operations
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics
