MCCU Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision to a team of staff, ensuring efficient workload distribution and productivity
• Coordinate staff deployment to ensure adequate coverage for 24/7-unit operations
• Review daily incidents recorded in the database to ensure accuracy and correct categorization
• Verify daily census reports for Detention and Placement
• Manage information sharing with law enforcement agencies regarding AWOLs and absconds
• Conduct individual and group meetings with staff regarding agency policies and procedures
• Track special court orders and distribute them expeditiously

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work with four years of professional experience in a child care institution, including two years in an administrative capacity; OR
• Master's degree in sociology, psychology, education, or public administration with five years of professional experience in a child care setting, including two years in an administrative capacity; OR
• Equivalent education and experience, including at least two years of administrative experience in a child care setting
