MC Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate Multi-Combination (MC) vehicles and heavy equipment
• Conduct pre and post-work vehicle inspections and report defects promptly
• Complete necessary documentation, including cartage dockets and service requests
• Maintain compliance with WA Main Roads, NHVL fatigue management, and National Load Restraint Guidelines
• Adhere to Chain of Responsibility requirements and axle weight permits
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment under direct control
• Utilize basic electronic devices, such as Samsung tablets, for operational tasks

Requirements

• Valid Multi-Combination (MC) Driver licence
• Current Police clearance
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol (D&A) testing
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle legislation and permitting standards
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team environment
• Proficiency in basic electronic device usage
