MC Chip Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Collect woodchips from infield sites and deliver them to the Port of Portland
• Complete all necessary associated documentation for deliveries
• Take proactive care of vehicles and plant equipment under your care
• Initiate actions to prevent deficiencies in product delivery
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety, fatigue, National Heavy Vehicle Regulations, and company guidelines

Requirements

• Current Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License (MC or HC with the ability to upgrade to MC)
• Knowledge of Main Road Heavy vehicle legislation and permitting standards
• Understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively resolve tasks
• Ability to work effectively within a small team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating chip trucks
