MBSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of platform architecture models using the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
• Develop and integrate mission engineering threads to support end-to-end system capability analysis.
• Champion configuration management, version control, and rigorous baselining for models in air-gapped environments.
• Design and enforce model styling rules and automated validation suites to ensure deliverable quality.
• Develop custom report generation templates using Velocity Template Language (VTL) for MS Office products.
• Drive collaborative and agile systems engineering processes across multiple organizations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in MBSE methodologies and tools including Cameo Systems Modeler and Teamwork Cloud.
• Lead program-wide adoption of model-based practices and participate in MBSE communities of practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math, computer science, or another technical discipline.
• Proven experience in Systems Engineering with Model-Based Engineering applications.
• Intermediate knowledge and hands-on experience with System Modeling Language (SysML).
• Experience with Object-Oriented Design and Analysis.
• Proficiency with modeling tool suites such as Cameo, SparxEA, or Rhapsody.
• Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Knowledge of engineering analysis and simulation tools such as ModelCenter, STK, or Modelica.
• Experience with the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) workflows.
• OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional certification.
