MBS Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform Multi-Body System (MBS) analyses to simulate the dynamic behavior of commercial vehicles
• Model and simulate complex mechanical systems using specialized software tools
• Conduct virtual durability simulations
• Interpret simulation results and propose design improvements based on analyses
• Collaborate with design engineers and other teams to optimize system performance and safety

Requirements

• Proven experience in analyses using TruckSim
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• Advanced English proficiency
• Solid knowledge of dynamics and fatigue

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Multi-Body System (MBS) analysis
• Knowledge of simulation tools such as Adams View, Adams Car, or Adams Flex
• Experience with fatigue software like nCode, fe-safe, CAE Fatigue, or HyperLife
• Experience with driveshaft analysis, geometry analysis, and steering effort
• Experience with full vehicle analysis and virtual track modeling
• Knowledge of suspension and chassis components and their dynamic properties
• Knowledge of elastomer dynamic behavior
• Experience with light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles (trucks and buses)
• Knowledge of programming and scripting (Python)
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• German language skills
