Maximo For Transportation SME

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide expert input across all Maximo for Transportation functional modules.
• Drive configuration, setup, and optimization activities for transportation operations deployed in the UAE (Dubai) and wider GCC.
• Support MAS 8.x / MAS 9.1 upgrades and integrations with enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with cloud/infrastructure teams on Azure and AWS deployment models and assist with cloud migrations.
• Advise clients on process design, testing, go‑live readiness and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Mentor client teams, provide knowledge transfer, and coordinate cross‑border project phases.
• Travel periodically to Dubai or other UAE sites for workshops, design sessions and deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years hands‑on IBM Maximo experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Maximo for Transportation.
• Proven experience with MAS 8.x and MAS 9.1 upgrades (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of core Transportation modules: Asset Configuration Management (ACM), Fleet & Vehicle Management, Work Management, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Preventive & Corrective Maintenance, Fuel & Driver Management, Inventory & Materials, Purchasing & Procurement, Warranty & Contract Management, Labor/Crew/Resource Management.
• Experience integrating Maximo with ERP and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and cloud deployment models.
• Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and testing experience.
• Comfortable working with remote, hybrid and cross‑border teams and able to travel to UAE (Dubai) as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM Maximo certification or equivalent training.
• Prior experience delivering Maximo for Transportation implementations in the GCC (UAE or Saudi Arabia).
• Experience leading MAS upgrade tracks and migration plans.
• Background in transportation operations, fleet management or public transit systems.
• Experience with automation, integrations (APIs/ESBs) and cloud DevOps practices.
