Math Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach four class sections across various levels of mathematics, from Algebra to Multivariable Calculus
• Collaborate with the Math Department Chair and faculty to ensure an integrated and cohesive curriculum
• Participate in two seasons of athletic coaching or two seasons of a major non-athletic extracurricular program
• Perform dormitory duty once or twice a week and weekend duty once every four weekends
• Engage in school committees, activities, and the broader residential community life

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics or a closely related field
• A strong passion for working with and living in a community with adolescents
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Commitment to student-centered pedagogy and working with a diverse student body

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience
• Experience coaching school sports, specifically football, field hockey, soccer, wrestling, volleyball, squash, or tennis
