Math Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach four periods of Math instructional content following provided lesson plans
• Use student-driven discussion protocols and promote depth of understanding
• Utilize instructional technologies including Brightspace, Nearpod, GSuit, and Zoom
• Prepare and internalize lesson materials prior to teaching
• Calculate grades according to rubrics and provide actionable feedback within one week
• Maintain an energetic and engaging classroom culture
• Attend scheduled meetings, professional development, and coaching sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a content-related field
• High school classroom teaching experience
• Proficiency with technological learning systems
• Understanding of student-centered pedagogy
• Expertise in advanced high school mathematics (Algebra & Trigonometry)

Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary Education Degree and Certification
• Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
• Certifications or training in Instructional Technologies
• Interest in discussing societal challenges and historical causes
