Math Instructor

Responsibilities

• Provide professional-level instruction in GED and CASAS reading and math preparation
• Facilitate 1:1 and small group sessions to meet individual learning needs
• Monitor and support student progress, including math gains and CASAS/GED achievements
• Maintain accurate attendance records and complete weekly reports
• Develop and maintain lesson plans aligned with course objectives
• Utilize computer-assisted instruction and cooperative learning techniques
• Deliver necessary accommodations to students in compliance with program requirements
• Evaluate and document student progress and case notes
• Ensure a clean and safe learning environment

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in education or related field or proven instructor experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in youth development
• Understanding of principles of effective youth-adult partnerships
• Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and instruction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Business Suite
• Excellent writing, speaking, and analytical skills
