About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, small-group math classes for advanced elementary students using company-created curriculum
- Actively involve students in student-led learning and collaborative problem-solving
- Manage classroom dynamics for groups of up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
- Build positive relationships with students and their families to support their educational journey
- Foster a love for learning and critical thinking in mathematics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Strong content knowledge in mathematics
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
- Ability to commute to our Lexington/Waltham, MA campus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field
- Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level
