Math Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging math curriculum using company-created materials designed for advanced students
• Lead small classes of up to 16 students, fostering an environment of student-led learning
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a productive learning atmosphere
• Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
• Build positive relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
• Inspire a love for critical thinking and mathematical problem-solving

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Strong content knowledge in mathematics
• Experience in teaching or tutoring students
• Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
• Ability to work onsite at our San Mateo, CA campus

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field
• Experience working with advanced learners in grades 1-12
