About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging math classes using company-created curriculum designed for advanced K-12 students
- Actively involve students in student-led learning and collaborative problem-solving
- Manage classroom environments of up to 16 students effectively
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
- Build positive relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
- Inspire a love for learning and critical thinking in mathematics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Strong content knowledge in mathematics
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
- Ability to commute to our Sugar Land, TX campus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field
- Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level
