About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging math curriculum using company-created materials designed for advanced students
- Lead small classes of up to 16 students, fostering an environment of student-led learning
- Manage classroom dynamics and actively involve students in collaborative problem-solving
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
- Build positive relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Strong mathematical content knowledge
- Experience in teaching or tutoring students
- Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
- Ability to commute to our Irvine, CA campus for in-person instruction
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field
- K-12 classroom teaching experience
