About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging math curriculum using company-created materials designed for advanced students
  • Lead small classes of up to 16 students, fostering an environment of student-led learning
  • Manage classroom dynamics and actively involve students in collaborative problem-solving
  • Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
  • Build positive relationships with students and families to support their educational journey

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Strong mathematical content knowledge
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring students
  • Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
  • Ability to commute to our Irvine, CA campus for in-person instruction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field
  • K-12 classroom teaching experience
